Pastor Bill & Jo Anne Christensen

Following thirty-four years of worship ministry, Pastor Bill and Jo Anne were recently asked to assume new duties. Filling the position of associate pastor, they are helping to facilitate the pastoral care ministries of the church. Being with people through the ups and downs of life is a true privilege. Seeing Jesus bring healing, and the Spirit bring peace is awesome!

The Christensens served congregations in Niles MI and St. Cloud MN before coming to Flint in 1988.
They both grew up in Wisconsin, but through God’s call, they have made Michigan their home. They are thankful for two daughters and son-in-laws, who have given them two awesome grandsons! Their family’s favorite scriptures include: “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me,” and “With God all things are possible” (Phil. 4:13; Matt. 19:26).

Pastor Bill received his BS degree in Sacred Music from North Central University in Minneapolis, and he recently earned an MA in Biblical Studies from Global University. Jo Anne graduated from Andrews University with a major in Communications and a minor in Behavioral Science. She enjoys serving many Mt. Morris families and their children through her work in the public school system. 

Pastor Bill and Jo Anne count it a privilege to work with the various adult ministries at Trinity, to be part of a wonderful and energetic staff, and to support the vision the Lord has given to Pastor Rob and Betsy to bring the Good News to the Flint area!
